Personal Hygiene Fundraiser

May 13 - May 31, 2024 | In Partnership with SECOM Resource Center

ImmiGreatness is excited to announce that we are partnering with SECOM Healthy Food Pantry to provide hygiene items to families in Grand Rapids! SECOM Healthy Food Pantry serves over 900 families every month, providing fresh produce, nutritious food, and essential items to those who need it most. ImmiGreatness is committed to serving our community, and we need your help to provide essential hygiene items to families at SECOM Healthy Food Pantry.
Donations will be collected from May 13th to the 31st. The most needed items are toilet paper, shampoo, deodorant, menstrual products, and laundry detergent. If you would like to give a monetary donation, you can do so here. Thank you for supporting our community!

FAFSA Workshop

If you're a high school senior looking for assistance with your FAFSA application, join ImmiGreatness and the Woodfield Community Center in collaboration for a FAFSA Workshop on January 16th at 6:00 p.m.
The workshop will be divided into multiple sections for help with creating a FSA ID for you and/or your parents, filling out the FAFSA application, general inquiries about FAFSA, and troubleshooting/review. Laptops will be provided, but students are encouraged to bring their own if they'd prefer to.

Back-2-School Drive

We are hosting our first annual Back-2-School supplies drive. We will be collecting school supplies and donations that will be dispersed to students from immigrant background who, otherwise, may have difficulty obtaining them. Whether you choose to shop our wishlist online (linked below), donate in-person, or make a financial contribution, your support is greatly appreciated. Thank you for helping us provide for students to ensure they are prepared for the 2023-24 school year.

Each year, Emerging Leaders: HWMUW offers a grant to support small, grassroots nonprofits in Kent County, Michigan, that focus on fighting the root causes of poverty in our community. Tickets are free, but beverages will be available for purchase. We hope to see you there!

This event is open to the community to offer resources and career readiness training, and is intended to welcome participants into a safe space to receive resources, information, and have the ability to receive donated clothing items for job interviews.
